“i moved to nashville 4 years ago thinking i would leave all my childhood trauma in virginia beach. about a year in, i realized i carry a lot of that with me in all aspects of my life. i’ve worked on healing and coming to terms with a lot of it, but i think it will always be apart of me, and that’s okay. it has made me who i am and there is fruit in that. this project is a musical product of my growing up and how it has impacted my adult relationships. i hope it feels like a warm hug and a shoulder to lean on. i hope you are transported through song into a world where we are so much more than just our generational heartbreak.”
